Days 1-3  Berlin, Germany
Fly to Germany’s capital. From striking street art to its tumultuous history, emerging food scene and intense nightlife, Berlin is a thriving metropolis just waiting to be explored. Spend your days exploring the iconic landmarks from the Brandenburg Gate to Checkpoint Charlie, wandering the fascinating streets, relaxing in the beautiful parks and savouring the delicious traditional cuisine in Kreuzberg, before hitting the town to discover the trendy beer halls and fancy cocktail taverns.

Days 4-5  Berlin to Prague, Czech Republic
Board your first rail journey and head to Prague, where Centuries of spires await. Wander the maze of cobbled lanes and discover hidden courtyards in Old Town, explore Hradcany Castle and wander over the Vltava River on the Charles Bridge and perhaps cruise under this iconic bridge on a river cruise. But Prague is also famous for producing some of the finest beers in the world so it would be rude not to try them all!

Days 6-7  Prague to Vienna, Austria
Ride the rails again to the glorious city of Vienna. This relatively compact city is ideal for a few days of exploration with plenty of sights to see. Visit the imposing St Stephen's Cathedral in the heart of the city, ride the giant ferris wheel in Prater Gardens for panoramic views of the city and perhaps catch an orchestra performance, it is the home of Mozart after all! For foodies, it doesn't get much better than Vienna! There are plenty of hidden local markets throughout the city showcasing delicious handcrafted deserts and the traditional coffee culture and if you travel near Christmas, the famed markets are perfect for shopping.

Days 8-9  Vienna to Budapest, Hungary
One final train ride today to Hungary's vibrant capital city, Budapest. The journey itself is part of the experience as you pass by beautiful rural villages so sit back and relax as you soak up the view. Did you know the city is split in two halves and can date its roots back to Roman times? Blessed with an abundance of hot springs, perhaps the most ornate Parliament building and a sophisticated cuisine, there is no better way to round off your trip of the imperial cities than with a Danube River cruise to soak up all of the sights and savour some traditional Hungarian dishes.
